    ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

    The candidate should be a native of Kerala or have undergone the qualifying examination from an institution in Kerala State.

    The candidate should have passed SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination,with eligibility for higher studies.

    Candidate who has taken more than two chances to secure eligibility for higher studies in SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examinations is not eligible for admission. Appearances for “Betterment” or “SAY” examination will not be considered as a chance.

    For CBSE/ICSE/Open school candidates the Marks/Grades obtained in Science is considered for calculating grade in the place of Physics and Chemistry. As per Circular No. Acad 03/2019 dated 10th January 2019, CBSE school candidates who have passed qualifying examination with MathematicsStandard are only eligible to apply for stream I.

    LATERAL ENTRY ADMISSION

    The candidate should be a citizen of India.

    A candidate who does not belong to ‘Keralite’ category shall be categorised as 'Non-Keralite'. He/she shall not be eligible for Communal EWS/TFW/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.

    In the case of +2/VHSE, the candidate should have a minimum score of 50% in Physics, Mathematics and other relevant mandatory additional course put together. In case of VHSE, the candidate should have a separate pass in Physics, Mathematics / additional Mathematics and other relevant mandatory additional course.

    In the case of candidates who have passed 2 years matric courses of NCVT/SCVT/KGCE, they shall have a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and they will be considered for admission to any branch of Engineering and Technology.
